All About The AGW | Current Champions - 2/28 | ||||||||||
The AGW is an e-wrestling league run under the TNM simulator, but, though it is simmed, we are booked in the sense that you must roleplay in order to climb the ladder to success. There are 2 cards a week right now, ANYTHING GOES TUESDAY and SATURDAY SMASHFEST, and the announcing team consists of Jesse "The Body" Ventura and Violet Morris, with special guest announers every now and then. The AGW has been going since February of '97 with a hiatus from July to late Spetember. But, it has quickly earned the respect of the e-wrestling world, and hopefully, if we all work together, it can legitimately be the best there is. MEET YOU IN THE RING!!!! |
AGW CHAMPIONS AS OF 2/24/98
| Latest News - 2/28 |
Well, the AGW's Winter Storm PPV was probably one of the best overall wrestling events in history. The 3-day spectacular garnered 3 straight sellout crowds in the Alamodome in San Antonio. The AGW took advantage of the sheer size of the Dome, by having 3 or 4 Megatournament matches going at the same time, much like tennis tourneys happening on several courts. Of course, this is because of time constraints, but the fans didn't mind it at all. We have a ton of newcomers who made serious impressions, most notably Brad Steel, Fleshcrawl, Bill Goldberg and Flash. The big shocker was how former AGW Prez, Speed Racer, turned on the leauge that he himself started, and alongside the rest of his Doom Patrol, Lords Of The Summit and with some assistance from the EEMWF's Rejects and Holocaust, the EEMWF truly made it's mark in the AGW. Essentially, we now have a 3 promotion battle as the AGW must fend off the AWA and EEMWF. Things will certainly get even more interesting as the EEMWF now have a price tag on their heads, garnering swarms of challenges. The 2/24 Anything Goes Tuesday contained many interviews, but unfortunately, it also contained a ton of EEMWF attacks, unwarranted as always. However, the AGW is making signs of a comeback against the EEMWF as Eli Vane and the Dark Church both got some revenge, and we also saw the return of Joe Public to wrestling. He was forced into it by Speed, and Speed will most likely regret it. We also saw the first quality match for The Reaper, one of the original AGW members, as he had a hard fought victory over Fleshcrawl. Son Goku, Smooth Operator, The Immortals, and Kid Dragon all successfully defended their titles, as well. Just about all of the pages are updated as of February 25. Check them out often.
